Planning Board Meeting May 6, 2026 at 7:30 pm - IN-PERSON ONLY!!!
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 7:30pm.
Planning Board members will attend in-person. Until further notice, applicants, their representatives, and interested members of the public must also attend the meeting in-person. Written comment on matters on the agenda for a public hearing may be submitted to the Planning Board Secretary by mail or email, but must be received no later than 4:00 PM on the date of the hearing. The Planning Board will open public hearings on the following application(s) at 7:30 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued. Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the meeting agenda posted on the Town website. The application file is also available for review in the Building Department at Town Hall during normal business hours.
- Application of Zichron Menachem, Inc., 10 Maple Terrace, Monsey, NY 10952 for Amended Final Site Plan approval of a site development plan entitled “10 Maple Terrace”, proposing a 747sf 2-story addition to the existing House of Worship with 13 parking spaces being provided on the 0.41-acre lot. The property in question is located at 10 Maple Terrace, Monsey, New York on the east side of Maple Terrace, approximately 200 feet north of Maple Avenue, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lots 56.08-2-83 and in an R-15C zone. On September 3, 2025, the Planning Board classified the proposed action as a Type II SEQRA Action. The environmental review of this application has concluded.
- Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) Sit Plan Approval with respect to an application of Amrin Berger, 15 Suffern Place, Monsey, New York 10952, of a site development plan entitled “15 Suffern Pl”, proposing two curb cuts on the 0.25-lot. The property in question is located at 15 Suffern Place, Monsey, New York on the west side of Suffern Place, approximately 250 feet North of Roberts Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 56.14-3-27 and is located in an R-15 Zone. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
