Planning Board Meeting June 15, 2026 at 7:30 pm - IN-PERSON ONLY!!!
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 7:30pm.
Planning Board members will attend in-person. Until further notice, applicants, their representatives, and interested members of the public must also attend the meeting in-person. Written comment on matters on the agenda for a public hearing may be submitted to the Planning Board Secretary by mail or email, but must be received no later than 4:00 PM on the date of the hearing. The Planning Board will open public hearings on the following application(s) at 7:30 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued. Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the meeting agenda posted on the Town website. The application file is also available for review in the Building Department at Town Hall during normal business hours.
- Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Amended Subdivision Discussion with respect to an application of Joseph Weber, 20 Suzanne Drive, Monsey, NY 10952 for approval of a subdivision development plan entitled “7 Howard Drive”, for a project titled “Haldco Subdivision” proposing to convert portion of the ground floor dwelling units to two accessory apartments, addition of two parking spaces and an additional curb cut on the Building D on the 0.4-acre lot. The property in question is located at 7 Howard Drive, Spring Valley on the south side of Howard Drive, approximately 0 feet at Elanie Place, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 56.08-3-10 & 10.1 and in an R-15C zone. The Planning Board will re-affirm prior SEQRA Negative Declaration of November 18, 2017. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
