Planning Board Meeting August 17, 2026 at 7:30 pm - IN-PERSON ONLY!!!
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Monday, August 17 2026, at 7:30pm.
Planning Board members will attend in-person. Until further notice, applicants, their representatives, and interested members of the public must also attend the meeting in-person. Written comment on matters on the agenda for a public hearing may be submitted to the Planning Board Secretary by mail or email, but must be received no later than 4:00 PM on the date of the hearing. The Planning Board will open public hearings on the following application(s) at 7:30 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued. Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the meeting agenda posted on the Town website. The application file is also available for review in the Building Department at Town Hall during normal business hours.
1. Application of Chaim and Blima Tauber, 310 Spook Rock Road, Suffern, NY 10901 for Final Subdivision approval of a subdivision plan entitled “310 Spook Rock Road”, proposing to subdivide the 0.76-acre site in two lots and construct a new single-family dwelling on one lot. The existing single-family dwelling will remain. The property in question is located at 310 Spook Rock Road on the east side of Spook Rock Road, approximately 0 feet south of Bayberry Drive, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lots 56.05-1-43 and in an R-25 zone. On February 10, 2026, the Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA Action, determined that preparation of an environmental impact statement was not required, and that a SEQRA negative declaration would be issued.
