Planning Board Meeting April 14, 2026 at 7:30 pm - IN-PERSON ONLY!!!

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Ramapo will hold a meeting at Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 7:30pm.

Planning Board members will attend in-person. Until further notice, applicants, their representatives, and interested members of the public must also attend the meeting in-person.  Written comment on matters on the agenda for a public hearing may be submitted to the Planning Board Secretary by mail or email, but must be received no later than 4:00 PM on the date of the hearing.  The Planning Board will open public hearings on the following application(s) at 7:30 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, for the purpose of allowing the public to be heard on those matters, and the hearing may thereafter be closed or continued. Links to files containing the application and supporting documents are available on the Town website using the meeting agenda posted on the Town website. The application file is also available for review in the Building Department at Town Hall during normal business hours.

  1. Application of Cragmere 87 LLC, 87 Cragmere Road, Airmont, NY 10907 for Final Site Plan and Special Use Permit approval of a site development plan entitled “Mesivta Beis Halevy”, for a project entitled “87-89 Cragmere Road” proposing to convert the existing single-family dwelling at 87 Cragmere Road to a school for 80 students and the existing single family dwelling at 89 Cragmere Road will be remain a caretaker’s residence on the 2.14-acre lot. 12 parking spaces will be provided. The property in question is located at 87 & 89 Cragmere Road, Airmont, New York on the west side of Cragmere Road, approximately 350 feet north of Martis Place, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lots 55.18-3-7.2 & 8 and in an R-40 zone. On November 18, 2025, the Planning Board classified the proposed action as a Type 1 SEQRA Action, determined that preparation of an environmental impact statement was not required, and that a SEQRA negative declaration would be issued.
  1. Determination of potential environmental impacts pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and Site Plan Approval with respect to an application of Chaim Herzberg, 15 Ravenna Drive, Pomona, NY 10970, of a site plan entitled “15 Ravenna Drive”, proposing to add a second curb-cut on the 1.308-acre site with existing single family dwelling. The property in question is located at 15 Ravenna Drive, Pomona, New York on the east side of Ravenna Drive, approximately 810 feet South of Conklin Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 33.20-1-23 and is located in an R-35 Zone. Please take notice that this Public Hearing is not a “SEQR Hearing” within the meaning of 6 NYCRR Part 617, although the Board will accept public comment at this Hearing from interested members of the public and involved/interested agencies.
  1. Application of Mayer Weber, 15 Perlman Drive, #120, Spring Valley, NY 10977 for Final Subdivision Approval of a subdivision plan entitled 3 Mirror Lake Road, proposing to subdivide the 0.65-acre property into two-lots and construct a single-family dwelling on each lot. The existing single-family dwelling will be demolished. The property in question is located at 3 Mirror Lake Road, Spring Valley, New York on the south side of Mirror Lake Road, approximately 0 feet west of Andover Road, which is known and designated on the Ramapo Tax Map as Section, Block, Lot 50.19-3-21 and in an R-15 zone. On July 30, 2025, the Planning Board classified the proposed action as an Unlisted SEQRA Action, determined that preparation of an environmental impact statement was not required, and that a SEQRA negative declaration would be issued.
