NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Town Board of the Town of Ramapo, that pursuant to the provisions of the Town Law of the State of New York, a public hearing will be held at 7:00 o'clock P.M. (Prevailing Time) at the Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, New York, 10901, on the 18th day of November, 2026 to consider the adoption of a local law entitled "A Local Amending Section 376-21 of the Code of the Town of Ramapo, the Zoning Map of the Town of Ramapo Zoning Local Law, to Rezone Property Designated as Section 57.13, Block 1, Lots 1-10 from a MR-8 Zoning Designation to a R-15C Designation", in response to the Petition of Optimum Azzi Gitty Development, LLC, which local law shall provide as follows:
A LOCAL LAW AMENDING SECTION 376-21 OF
THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF RAMAPO,
THE ZONING MAP OF THE TOWN OF RAMAPO ZONING
LOCAL LAW, TO REZONE PROPERTY DESIGNATED AS
SECTION 57.13, BLOCK 1, LOTS 1-10 FROM A MR-8
ZONING DESIGNATION TO A R-15C DESIGNATION
BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Ramapo as follows:
Section 1. Section 376-21 of the Zoning Local Law of the Town of Ramapo is hereby amended to provide that the property identified as Section 57.13, Block 1, Lots 1-10 on the Tax Map of the Town of Ramapo, which is more fully described in the metes and bounds description attached hereto, is rezoned from a MR-8 zoning designation to a R-15C zoning designation and the Zoning Map of the Town of Ramapo is hereby amended to so provide.
Section 2. This local law shall take effect immediately upon filing with the Secretary of State.
NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.
